Nova SinClaire lives in Hashin, the colony for the mentally ill. Leaving the colony means certain death, and shes never been one to want to die, despite her illness. But when her best friend goes missing while on a work trip for the Sovran, Nova sneaks onto a cargo hold to escape and find out what happened to him. But the colony she enters is far worse than anything she’s ever known. The dead are used as servants, soldiers have no will of thier own, and the occupants of the city? Well, they walk on the edge of death every day. Can Nova find him and escape the hell she’s found herself in? Or will she end up in a feild with the rest of the dead, waiting to be used?
