The Prince of Wrath

A teenage boy wakes up in a dark and ominous wood. With a sky glittering with a violet light and black, skeletal trees making up the forest, this is not a world that you nor I have ever seen. He has no memory of who he was before waking up in the world only known as ‘The Wilds’. On his journey to find any semblance of civilized life, he comes across other kids who live in the forest, all cursed with the same amnesia. They all have a single thing in common: everyone has woken up in the dark, carrying a single, brass lantern. Everyone seems to have been blessed with the innate ability to transform into half-beast warriors, which they use to help survive the darkness and monsters that lurk around every corner. Gathering their courage, they must brave the never-ending trials as the Spire threatens the world. The Lord Laucian conspires to overthrow the hierarchy of demon prince monarchs that govern ‘The Wilds’. Will our hero be able to outrun the oncoming darkness? or will the forest consume them all?…
